Pug - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Duchess D
Description
Update 9/04/09: Just wanted everyone to know that I am doing wonderful in my foster home. I'm like a new lady. I've even started walking better. I was bowlegged from all the stones. Can you imagine walking around like that for years? I would like everyone to know the warning signs of a bladder infection so what happened to me won't happen to anyone else. I started urinating blood a few years ago. If you notice your pet urinating more or blood in the urine please take them to the vet right away. If I would have been taken to the vet I could have avoided this whole messy situation. The vet told my foster mom he had never seen so many stones in his life. I'm very lucky to be alive today and now I am living it to the fullest. I haven't had any accidents since the surgery and on the road to recovery. I'm so glad I found my pug friends and remember you can make a donation in my name to help pay for my surgery. Update: I had my surgery to remove the bladder stones and boy did I have a lot in there. The biggest one is the size of an egg. You can imagine the kind of pain I was in. My bladder will probably not go back to the size it should be and I will more than likely have potty issues for the rest of my life. I am on the road to recovery thanks to my pug rescue friends. They sure know how to make a pug feel good. Hi everyone my name is Duchess, but my foster dad calls me Duchess D. I am a very sweet and loving 6 yr old pug who wants nothing more than to sit in your lap while you pet me. I was living in Nevada and then my owner died. Luckily I found myself here in Florida with my pug rescue friends. They were told that I was not potty trained, but my foster mom says it's because I have a bladder full of stones. I will be getting surgery soon and I will be good as new. My foster mom says I shouldn't be hard to potty train since I go to the back door when I have to go outside just sometimes I don't make it. I get along great with other dogs, kids and cats. Please don't hesitate fill out an application today. A beauty like me surely won't last long.My adoption fee is only $200 which will helps to reimburse OPRA for some of my medical expenses. If you love me but cant adopt me, please send a donation to help my OPRA friends pay for my medical expenses. They sure could use it. My friends at OPRA are all Volunteers and they are working very hard to find me a good home. So, please do not call them about me until you have submitted an application.** VISIT WWW.ORLANDOPUGRESCUE.NET for more information about donating and adoption applications **
