Pug - Small - Adult - Female - Dog - Rosie
Description
Hi everyone my name is Rosie, and I came in with my friend Rosie. Our foster mom likes to call us R and R since we both like rest and relaxation. We are super sweet fun-loving pugs. Rockie is a beautiful 6 year old, 22 lb, apricot male and I am a beautiful 5 year old, 17 lb, fawn female. Our previous owner was in an abusive relationship and when she moved back in with her parents she was unable to take us with her. We have not been to a vet in years or on heartworm medication, and now we are paying the price! When our pug rescue friends took us to the vet, we both tested positive for heartworms. A simple inexpensive pill once a month would have prevented this - so sad. We will start our treatment soon after we get spayed and neutered. We both were a bit of a mess when we got here. I had a bladder infection and we both have ear infections. We are on medication for these things though and they will be taken care of very soon. We are living the good life now. Our foster mom is in the process of getting us healthy and gives us all the love and attention we want and deserve. We both love to cuddle and Rockie really loves the belly rubs. Hes a big lizard hunter too, but hasnt caught any yet. We get along great with young kids and other dogs. I dont mind the cat, but Rockie enjoys chases him. Our foster mom is trying to get him not to do it, but I must tell you the cat does start a lot of it. We have been through a lot and would like very much to stay together, if possible. If you have room in your heart and your home for two pug sweethearts, please fill out an application.today to adopt us. If you love us, but can't adopt us our pug friends will graciously accept donations in our name. Between the medications that we are on now and the heartworm treatments we need to safe our lives, they could use all the help they can get. Our adoption fee is only $400 ** VISIT WWW.ORLANDOPUGRESCUE.NET FOR ADOPTION APPLICATIONS AND/OR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT DONATING
