Preferred Skill/Competency
This medical technologist position will rotate through all areas in the blood bank laboratory including component preparation, donor processing, and transfusion services. The technologist must be able to perform and report a variety of moderately to highly complex laboratory procedures accurately without immediate direct supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Flexibility in responsibilities and schedules as well as outstanding teamwork will be necessary to meet the changing needs of hospital growth. The work schedule will include rotating coverage of weekends and holidays, and the candidate must be willing to work the evening and/or night shift.
Salary Range
Commensurate with experience and skills
Preferred License/Certificate
The candidate must possess MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification; SBB certification would be an asset.
Preferred Work Experience
Two Years of Clinical Experience in a full service blood bank or transfusion service laboratory

Min Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience. CMT - certified medical technologist required.
